Ghana Expedition, 1996

The first trip, in 1996, concentrated on Ghana, with a long trek from Temma, the headquarters, through Kumasi, ending up in Wa, in the north.

The trip was punctuated with stops in Fort Good Hope, Tamale, and along the coast in Cape Coast and Elmina.

Togo Expeditions, 1999 & 2000

These were very rewarding trips, despite the hardships of the locale and the fluid nature of the local power brokers. Luck struck in the form of significant finds and acquisitions.
